Marissa Rodriguez
Marissa Rodriguez is an associate attorney, at Phillips, Whisnant, Gazin, Gorczyca & Curtin with experience in family law.
Marissa earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a Minor in Law, Politics, and Society at California State University, Fullerton and earned her Juris Doctor degree with an Emphasis in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law.
Marissa is passionate about assisting people in their legal family matters/domestic relations. She became an attorney with the sole intent of practicing family law. While in law school, Marissa was certified as a Law Student Attorney at the Bette and Wylie Aitken Family Protection Clinic, where she assisted survivors of domestic violence in obtaining protection orders and navigating the family law court system. During this time, she also worked as a summer associate and clerk for various Orange County family law firms, including PWGGC.
Prior to joining PWGGC, Marissa worked as an associate attorney for a well-known family law firm in Orange County. She continues to serve the Orange County community and is an active member of the State Bar of California, and the Orange County Bar Association, where she is a section member for the Family Law division, and Young Lawyers division. She is also a member of the Orange County Women Lawyers Association, Hispanic Bar Association of Orange County, and the Orange County Coalition for Diversity in the Law.
